How Credits Work

at maskit, we use a credit based system to give you flexibility one credit is consumed for each operation credits are calculated based on image resolution an image up to 12 mp = 1 credit images larger than this consume credits based on multiples of that resolution example anonymizing one image of 3072x3072 px (≈ 10 mpx) = 1 credit anonymizing one image of 4032 x 3024 px (≈ 12 mpx) = 1 credit anonymizing one image of 4608 × 3456 px (≈ 16 mpx) = 2 credits anonymizing one image of 8192 x 6144 px (≈ 50 mpx) = 4 credits there are two types of credits in our system monthly credits these are the credits included in your monthly subscription (e g 25 credits in the free plan) validity they are valid for your monthly billing cycle expiration unused monthly credits expire at the end of your billing cycle and do not roll over to the next month renewal a new batch of monthly credits is added to your account automatically at the start of each billing cycle universal credits these are extra credits you can buy at any time (excluding the free plan) if you run out of your monthly allowance validity they are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase no expiration unused universal credits roll over each month up to 12 months validity usage they are automatically consumed after you have used up all of your monthly credits for the current cycle the number of the credits you can see in the section account/subscription & billing
